Into the Woods by Matthew-T Into the Woods by Matthew-T
I may or may not have titled this after James Lapine's Into the Woods for lack of originality :giggle:

Taken on the way back from the Japanese Gardens yesterday. Due to the fact that it was pouring, I had to take it while driving :dead:. It was a bit dark and overcast, hence the 800 ISO :(

Entered into the: Raken 'em Up! Its an Autumn Contest!, hosted by =Ultra-Violet-X

You have such a good sense of color in this one, and the vivid imagery is just so awe inspiring, and just beautiful. For one who doesn't see roads like this much, it's quite nice to see. The one thing I could think of that could be better, is up at the top, the sun's rays really bring out too many highlights on the leaves and they start to blur into each other. That could be due to wind as well, hard to tell. Try upping the shutter speed to be just slightly quicker, but not enough to darken out the lower parts of the photograph.

It is such an amazing scene that you captured here. The colours all fall into place as one. I don't see roads like this at all, and it is so beautiful to see roads like this. And you said you captured it when you were driving? It is so amazing, I definitely couldn't do that! It is like something from a dream. It is so fresh, like no one had been there. The one thing that isn't the best is at the top, because of the sun's rays, the leaves all blur into one. Like lumi-nara said, if you up the shutter speed just a little bit then it would have stopped the highlights being there.
